Music students perform in final recitals

This week sees the public recitals of a number of final-year student performers from the BMus Music programme:

Last night, in Canongate Kirk, Anna Wright (saxophone) and Laura Cioffi (flute) played a programme of Debussy, Godard, Ibert, Daugherty, Creston, and Glazunov, accompanied by Scott Mitchell.

Tonight, Jamie Lang (piano) and Rachael Liddell (voice) will perform a programme of Liszt, Gershwin, Debussy, Rossini, Granados and more at Stockbridge Parish Church. Rachael will be accompanied by Scott Mitchell.

On Wednesday, Kinga Zaborowska (flute) will play music by Bonis, Schwantner, and Wos in a programme entitled ‘Hidden Gems for Flute’. She will be joined by clarinettist Pawel Jaworski, and accompanist Scott Mitchell at St Giles’ Cathedral.

On Saturday at Stockbridge Parish Church, Monica Toll (voice) will be singing a programme of lieder by Schubert, Fauré, and Poulenc, and operatic excerpts by Handel, Massenet, and Puccini, accompanied by Scott Mitchell.
