Throughout the year, the Photography Department at Edinburgh Napier have run a very successful Photography Lecture series with speakers come to talk to the students and members of the public. Previous speakers have included Mikhael Subotzky and Patrick Waterhouse, Chloe Dewe Mathews, Ben Roberts, Colin McPherson and Tessa Bunney.
To co-incide with the Festival of Creative Industries, we are delighted to welcome Scottish photographer Laurence Winram to take part in the Edinburgh Napier University Photography Lecture Series.
Laurence Winram is a Scottish photographer based in Edinburgh. His time is split between commercial and personal projects. Living in Scotland, Laurence’s unique style is called on by clients from as far afield as New York to Singapore. When not shooting commercially he is never to be found far from his camera with a constant stream of personal project work keeping him busy throughout the year. Finalist in The Saatchi Gallery online competition he currently has a print of The Watchers on display in the Saatchi gallery.
