‘Five Go To Mozambique’

top

In May 2014, five students and two tutors from the BDes (Hons) Graphic Design programme, travelled to Northern Mozambique to work on two branding projects for a local charity – The Teran Foundation. –https://www.facebook.com/Teran. The charity has been based in Mossuril, a small coastal town, for ten years, working against the odds to improve the health and everyday lives of the local people in a country still recovering from a long civil war. With little in the way of tools, supply chain and infrastructure, the five students worked on graphics from the ground up for SHINE, a women’s soap co-operative and LIFE, a small start-up film festival. The story of the work carried out over a month is told in this blog –http://fivegotomozambique.blogspot.co.uk/
