Laurence Winram photography talk

Throughout the year, the Photography Department at Edinburgh Napier have run a very successful Photography Lecture series with speakers come to talk to the students and members of the public. Previous speakers have included Mikhael Subotzky and Patrick Waterhouse, Chloe Dewe Mathews, Ben Roberts, Colin McPherson and Tessa Bunney.

To co-incide with the Festival of Creative Industries, we are delighted to welcome Scottish photographer Laurence Winram to take part in the Edinburgh Napier University Photography Lecture Series. 

This lecture will take place on Tuesday 26th May 2015 at 5:30pm in Lecture Theatre B2 at Merchiston Campus.

 

Laurence Winram is a Scottish photographer based in Edinburgh. His time is split between commercial and personal projects. Living in Scotland, Laurence’s unique style is called on by clients from as far afield as New York to Singapore.  When not shooting commercially he is never to be found far from his camera with a constant stream of personal project work keeping him busy throughout the year. Finalist in The Saatchi Gallery online competition he currently has a print of The Watchers on display in the Saatchi gallery.

Professional Development with Shutter Hub

We are delighted to welcome Karen Harvey from Shutter Hub  to take part in the Edinburgh Napier University Photography Lecture Series.

This lecture will take place on Wednesday 27th May 4pm-6pm in Lecture Theatre B2 at Merchiston Campus as part of the Festival of Creative Industries.

Karen Harvey is Creative Development Director of Shutter Hub, she will give a lecture on professional development, what to do next after leaving university and advice on entering the professional photography world, she ail be there to answer your questions and generally give business advise on starting out.
